We've been staying at an old-school, rustic lakeside resort near Yellowstone National Park; it's called Madison Arm Resort. What's an arm, when we're talking about water features?! I do not have the answer to that question. Nor do I have time to figure out the answer, because this is not my quest.
My quest of truth, love, and freedom often brings answers, but more often, it brings questions. Hmmm.
Anyway, Ron and I had a good experience with the office staff, which is always a big plus. But we ended up having to re-hitch Pearl and and re-level because the rear passenger side wheel of the trailer was OFF THE GROUND, yikes. And although we tried (rather than risk using chocks to "fix" it), we undid and re-did the entire process, adding another 30 minutes to our settling-in time. But, it was the right thing to do, so we did it, and we are happy with that decision. We leveled up with Mother Earth.
After that, we took a walk down by the water and I snapped this photo, which I edited in Photoshop and ON1 to make it look more like what we actually saw:

We walked all the way across the exposed beach to the marina, which was very close to our campsite. I'll post another photo or two later, but here we are getting acclimated to our new temporary home and feeling excited for our first-ever visit to Yellowstone:

This morning, before we set out for Yellowstone, Ron took this photo at 8:00 on his morning walk. I got his permission to use the photo in the blog, but of course I did a tiny bit of enhancement in Photoshop and ON1. (He calls me his "custom blend girl"!)

Enjoy, and we will see you soon on the freedom trail!
